Sir Hans A. Krebs (circa 1953)...   joined faculty of University of Sheffield 1935,   where he achieved his ground breaking discoveries   on citric acid cycle (Krebs Cycle).   Awarded 1953 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.                 a key contribution was discovery of citrate synthase making    the reactions a cycle.
